Experience cooking with the abudance of tropical world ingredients and learn the history of the Creole style in this unique program praised by Food & Wine, National Geographic Traveler, and Travel & Leisure magazines. 1-day, 3-day, and customized program availab le for all levels of culinary enthusiasts while staying at the secluded Inn at Coyote Mountain.
 
 
YOUR INSTRUCTORS are Costa Rica native Rosalidia Matamoros and Spanish-born Antonia (Toņi) Peregrina, both of whom have studied and practiced with the Inn's chef-owners Vaughn Perret and Charles Leary in both Spain and Costa Rica. Ms. Peregrina also gives classes in Spanish language and culinary Spanish.
 
Rosalidia has honed a lifelong love of food with professional classes in Costa Rica and travel to France and Spain. She has worked closely with Chefs Perret & Leary, and specializes in traditional Costa Rica preperations.
 
Toņi grew up in Granada, Spain and has also lived in Aix-en-Provence and Marseilles, France. She brings an expert familiarity with classic Spanish cuisine and a background study Creole cookery to each class.
 
Both Rosalidia and Toņi make us of fresh, local Costa Rican ingredients to create inspired meals.
